Lemelerberg

Lemelerberg is a moraine that formed about 150,000 years ago when glaciers pushed sand and gravel ahead of it. The soil of this mountain of the past was too dry and poor for the farmers, so they could not cultivate anything on it. As a result, however, a beautiful stretch of heathland has now been created.
